Jessica’s Why

While my husband and I were raising our 5 kids and Great Dane in the Pacific NW, we found ourselves in a certain amount of consistent chaos, and I needed to find a way to create space for each of us individually, in addition to a space reflective of our family unit. Through that journey, I learned as much as I could about colors, textiles, and furniture, as well as their natural placement while also considering how the space felt.

It’s always been important to me to have ‘things that matter’ in our home environment. Things like personal mementos, memorabilia and artwork from friends and family we have lost or are close to. How those things are arranged has also always been very important to me and I found myself spending a lot of time making sure things were “just so” by incorporating feng shui principles and intuitive placement.

Through energy work with a practitioner using crystal therapy here in the magical Sonoran desert, it became apparent that I have been creating energy grids in the spaces I occupy and that it elicits a sense of not only who I am, but is reflective of my family and my roots, creating an overall sense of comfort and grounding. I do this everywhere I go and want to share it with others to help them create the same feeling in their own homes or workspaces.

As a successful real estate agent here in Arizona, who has served as a Board Member and Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, obtaining an Interior Design Certification through the New York Institute of Art & Design was a natural transition, allowing me to help people find and create home. Home is not just a place where you live, it’s a part of who you are.
